After a busy two years working with the statewide Food System Resiliency Council, and launching a pilot online farmer's market to support our farmers during the pandemic, the Food Council is back to meetings! It's time to re-strategize and build community alliances. So, on January 9th we "met" on zoom, with nearly 40 participants and lots of new faces! Get in touch if you missed the meeting but have an interest in food security in Frederick County! Several people shared their interest in serving on the Steering Committee, which will meet for the first time February 7, 2023 to discuss positions and plan the Spring Quarterly Meeting to be held (on zoom) March 14, 2023.
